Harvey Mudd College requires engineers to go through three semesters of "Clinic." For this, students work in teams on a project given by an outside sponsor.
During my Junior year, I worked on satellite dish pointing and signal maximization for DirecTV. Part of this involved signal prediction and determination during antenna installation, while the other component was based on using Google Earth Satellite and Streetview data to predict whether a location had a clear view of the appropriate part of the sky for a satellite dish installation
During my Senior year, I worked for AT&T to design electronics for a signal-mapping drone, a procedure to use with it, and software for analyzing the results.
Due to the corporate nature of these projects, few photos are available.
