Since my Sophomore year of college, I have been interested in and involved in amateur rocketry. Southern California is a nice place to get into this! I built a number of rockets and achieved Tripoli Level 1 certification. I prepared for my Level 2 certification, but never completed it as I moved to the East Coast and haven't been as involved here.

One project I worked on was a sensor suite and Kalman filter to track the rocket through its entire flight without GPS.
